Command Sgt. Maj. George Horvath, U.S. Army retired, served in the Army for 32 years, including in light infantry units in Korea and Vietnam, the 1st Ranger Battalion, and in mechanized infantry and armor units. He served in every NCO leadership position from team to multiple Army command sergeant major positions, retiring in 1992 after serving as the senior enlisted soldier of U.S. Army Europe and 7th Army.
