Command Sgt. Maj. Dan Elder, USA Ret., had numerous operational-, institutional- and industrial-level assignments, culminating as command sergeant major of the U.S. Army Materiel Command. A Bosnia-Herzegovina and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, he was inducted to the Sergeants Major Academy Hall of Honor. He is a senior fellow of the Association of the U.S Army’s Institute of Land Warfare.
