Col. John Melton is commander of Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He previously commanded Irwin Army Community Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas. He is board-certified in health care administration and a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, and has an MBA from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and a master’s degree from the U.S. Army War College.
