Col. Dave Voorhies is commander of the 198th Infantry Brigade, Infantry One-Station Unit Training, Fort Benning. Previously, he commanded the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Commissioned from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, in 1995, he has served four combat deployments.
