Capt. Mark D. Bedrin is the commander of Troop A, 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, deployed to Sinai, Egypt. He previously served in the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry). He deployed twice to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
