Capt. George Runkle IV is an armor officer who is the command historian for III Corps, Fort Hood, Texas. Previously, he served as the battalion operations officer for the 215th Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Hood, and as a theater army battle captain at the U.S. Army Central Command, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.
