Space in the USA Security and Defense Pavilion for IDEX 2019 is already 77 percent booked for an event in the United Arab Emirates that doesn’t take place until February.

The U.S. pavilion at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi is organized by the Association of the U.S. Army. The 2019 event will be held Feb. 17–21.

Held every two years, IDEX is the largest security and armaments exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the world’s second-largest security and defense show.

The 2017 tri-service event drew more than 1,200 companies and was attended by more than 105,000 people from 142 countries.

The USA Security and Defense Pavilion, supported by the U.S. government, hosts an exhibitors’ reception and features speakers from the Defense Department, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Central Command. Speakers also include representatives from the Departments of State and Commerce, and defense industry executives.
