Ten-Miler Priority Registration Starts May 1

Priority registration for the 35th-annual Army Ten-Miler begins at 7 a.m. Eastern for service members using a .mil email address and for anyone who has finished at least seven previous Army Ten-Miler races.

The 2019 race will take place Oct. 13, the Sunday before the Oct. 14 start of the Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C.

General registration for the race begins May 15. Sales for exhibitors’ “Hooah” tents begin May 1.

There is a 10,000-runner cap on priority registration and a 35,000 cap on the total field of runners for an event that begins and ends at the Pentagon. AUSA’s annual meeting is held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington. 

AUSA is a founding and continuing sponsor of the race that was first held in 1985. The winning time last year was 50 minutes, 23 seconds for Spc. Frankline Tonui, the top-finishing male, and 56 minutes, 33 seconds for Spc. Susan Tanui, the top-finishing female.
