The Association of the U.S. Army will host a webinar Feb. 15 on talent management initiatives for warrant officers.

The event, part of AUSA’s Noon Report series, will feature a panel of senior warrant officers. The free event begins at noon Eastern. Registration is required here.

Managing talent across the force is a key initiative for the Army, as it works to find the right people for the right jobs.

For warrant officers, new initiatives include a directive that allows retired Regular Army warrant officers to serve in the Army National Guard or Army Reserve while continuing to receive retirement pay. This program, announced last summer, allows the reserve component to benefit from the talents of these highly skilled soldiers, the Army said in a press release.

Speaking at the webinar are Chief Warrant Officer 5 Rick Knowlton, the senior warrant officer adviser for the Army Talent Management Task Force; CW5 Patrick Nelligan, command chief warrant officer of the Army Reserve Command; and CW5 Teresa Domeier, command chief warrant officer of the Army National Guard.
