Innovation Featured at Global Force Symposium

Innovation will be on display at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Global Force Symposium and Exposition in Huntsville, Ala., next week.Innovator’s Corner will be at Booth 2229 on the Von Braun Center’s East Hall exhibit floor. This will be the site of presentations on a variety of innovations, such as detecting insider threats, gyroscopic sensors, plasma antenna arrays and advancements in energy, human performance, munitions and safety equipment, and in other fields. Industry and academic innovators will be making the presentations and interacting with peers and with military stakeholders. The symposium runs from March 31 to April 2. Presentations at Innovator’s Corner are scheduled for the first two days of the event. Presentations are open to anyone participating in the conference, but seating is limited. In addition to presentations from the people behind the innovations, top Army and defense officials are scheduled to speak about the importance of identifying new technology and new approaches. Innovator’s Corner is a concept first tested by AUSA at last year’s Annual Meeting and Exposition, held in Washington, D.C., featuring novel approaches to wireless power technology, improvements in bio sensors and smart glass applications. Here is the schedule for Huntsville presentations and keynote speeches by military leaders: http://ausameetings.org/globalforce/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2015/03/Schedule-for-AUSA-Innovator For further information on AUSA’s Global Force Symposium and Exposition, to include the current agenda, visit: http://ausameetings.org/globalforce/
