The Association of the U.S. Army is launching a new podcast series, beginning with a Feb. 4 program featuring Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey discussing the new Army Greens uniform.

Called “Army Matters,” new episodes of the series will be available each Monday, with rotating hosts and topics. The programs can be found at podcast.ausa.org or anywhere podcasts are available.

Soldier Today programs focused on professional development and trending issues for NCOs will be hosted by retired Sgt. Maj. of the Army Kenneth O. Preston, AUSA’s vice president for NCO and Soldier Programs, and retired Command Sgt. Maj. Troy Welch.

Army Real Talk programs discussing future defense and national security issues will be hosted by Nzinga A. Curry, Institute of Land Warfare programs director, and Maj. Brad Cooper, a U.S. Army fellow at AUSA.

Family Voices programs focused on military families will be hosted by Patty Barron, AUSA Family Readiness director.

Thought Leader interviews with senior Army leaders and contemporary military authors will be hosted by retired Col. Daniel S. Roper, National Security Studies director, and Joseph Craig, Book Program director.

Curry, who is overseeing the podcasts, called this an extension of the educational programs already offered by the Institute of Land Warfare. “AUSA is offering a podcast series that will provide our members and concerned citizens with popular and featured professional development programs,” she said.
