AUSA Hot Topics: Installation Management in March

The 2015 AUSA “Army Installation Management: Building Readiness Platforms for Winning in a Complex Environment” Hot Topic – a focused one-day professional development forum – will take place on March 10 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va. 

The purpose of the AUSA Institute of Land Warfare Army Installation Management Symposium is to provide a unique opportunity for senior leaders from industry and the military to interact and share their thoughts on the future of Army installations worldwide. The symposium will include over 300 military, government, and industry professionals involved in all aspects of Army installations.

8:30 AM – Presentation: Lt. Gen. David Halverson, assistant chief of staff for Installation Management, commanding general, United States Army Installation Management Command 

8:50 AM – Panel discussion: “Partnerships – Opportunities for Cost Savings/Avoidance and Increased Efficiencies,” chaired by Mr. Paul D. Cramer, deputy assistant secretary of the Army (Installations, Housing & Partnerships), Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (IE&E) 

10:30 AM – Panel discussion: “Energy and Sustainability – The Path Forward,” chaired by Mr. Richard G. Kidd IV, deputy assistant secretary of the Army (Energy & Sustainability), Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (IE&E) 

12:45 PM – Panel discussion: “The Installation – A Power Projection Platform and Training Enabler in Support of Army Force 2025 and Beyond,” chaired by Maj. Gen. Al T. Aycock, director of operations, Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, Installation Management 

2:30 PM – Panel discussion: “Soldier and Family Services – Building Resiliency and Self-Reliance,” chaired by Anthony J. Stamilio, deputy assistant secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Civilian Personnel/Quality of Life
