After the Hot Topic, there will be a media roundtable featuring Miranda, Lalor, Anderson and Rich Martin, executive director of supply chain management at Army Materiel Command.
The industrial base is an integral part of the military’s ability to support and generate readiness during times of conflict. The ability of the defense industrial base, both organic and commercial industrial bases, to come together to support emerging requirements, is key to ensuring service members have what they need to succeed.
To that end, Army Materiel Command, in partnership with the office of the deputy Army chief of staff for logistics, G-4, has several initiatives focused on bolstering the industrial base.
During the Hot Topic, experts from the military and industry will discuss these efforts to ensure the demands on the industrial base stay on pace with the Army’s transformation.
