A one-day forum on Army policies related to cybersecurity, information systems and Mission Command will be hosted July 20 by the Association of the U.S. Army’s Institute of Land Warfare. The theme is “Protecting the Network, Empowering the Warfighter.”

Part of AUSA’s Hot Topics series, the event will be held at the General Gordon R. Sullivan Conference and Event Center in Arlington, Va., with speeches and panel discussions available via livestream.

The keynote speaker will be Lt. Gen. Paul A. Ostrowski, the Army’s principal military deputy assistant secretary for acquisition, logistics and technology. Three panel discussions are scheduled, looking at joint service efforts on cybersecurity, Mission Command interoperability, and acquisition and sustainment of new technology and software.

Participants will come from the Army, Defense Department, combatant and Army services commands, industry, and coalition partners.
