AUSA Congratulates Military Spouse of the Year

The Association of the U.S. Army congratulates Corie Weathers on her selection as the 2015 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year. Corie is married to Chaplain (Capt.) Matthew Weathers. They have two sons and are stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga.Patty Barron, Director of Family Readiness, believes Corie will be a strong advocate in the military community. “As the Military Spouse of the Year and also a licensed professional counselor, Corie will increase everyone’s knowledge of positive mental health, resilience, faith, and marriage reconnecting strategies. Her own personal story coupled with her training from the U.S. Army Chaplains Corps makes her an ideal role model for military spouses everywhere.”
