Forbes magazine lists her as the world’s 24th most powerful woman.

Novakovic joined what was then called the AUSA council of trustees in 2015 and was appointed chairman of the AUSA board of directors in 2017. She also serves on the boards of Abbott Laboratories, Northwestern University, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation and the National Military Family Association.
