The seventh annual Warriors to the Workforce (Washington D.C.) job fair will take place during the Association of the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting this fall.

Hosted by the American Freedom Foundation, the event will be held Oct. 14-16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The three-day event will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. It will bring together major companies from throughout the country to profile their services and provide employment opportunities for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses.

Attendees will have the chance to talk with employers, submit their qualifications, participate in job interviews, have their resumes reviewed and participate in a rotating schedule of professional development workshops led by subject matter experts on the transition from military to civilian life.

Companies listed to attend include GES, General Dynamics, NEXCOM, Lockheed Martin, Links to Freedom and Purdue University Global. Representatives from various government agencies, including the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Customs & Border Protection, will also be there.
