AUSA 2019 Housing Bureau Opens May 7
The housing bureau for the 2019 Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition opens May 7 at noon Eastern.
The 2019 meeting will be held Oct. 14–16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., and is expected to draw about 30,000 people.
Hotel rooms may be booked using this website, http://ausameetings.org/2019annualmeeting/hotel-travel/housing/, or by calling a customer service center.
The toll-free number for the U.S and Canada is (855) 971-2295. For other international calls, the number is (202) 831-0980. Once activated May 7, the customer service center will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern. It is not open Saturday or Sunday.
Because of high demand and limited rooms, companies and organizations will be limited to booking five rooms each at four hotels near the convention center: Washington Marriott Marquis, Courtyard Washington Downtown/Convention Center, Residence Inn Washington Downtown/Convention Center and Renaissance Washington DC.
Operated by Convention Management Resources, the housing bureau offers negotiated discounted hotel rooms for AUSA Annual Meeting attendees and exhibitors. This is the only AUSA-authorized housing representative that has the lowest room rates for hotels within a mile of the convention center.
