AUSA 2018 Wraps Up With Marshall Dinner Wednesday
Day Three of AUSA 2018 includes a morning address by Deputy Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan, the Pentagon’s chief management officer, and concludes with the Marshall Dinner.
In between, cross-functional team briefings continue during the day at Warriors Corner, Booth 7727 in Hall D.
There are two important morning forums. One on Multi-Domain Operations will be hosted by Gen. Stephen J. Townsend of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command. A second, hosted by Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson, the deputy chief of Staff, G-3/5/7/, looks at the new era of interoperability between nations.
There also are two seminars to discuss military retirement planning.
An afternoon forum discussing personnel readiness is hosted by Lt. Gen. Thomas C. Seamands, deputy chief of staff for personnel, and includes panelists from the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Army Cadet Command, Cyber Command and Human Resources Command.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Exhibit halls open at 8 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
The annual meeting concludes with ABC News journalist Martha Raddatz receiving AUSA’s highest award, the George Catlett Marshall Medal, at a dinner hosted by Phebe N. Novakovic, chairman of the AUSA Council of Trustees.
