Army Ten-Miler General Registration Opens 6:30 a.m. EDT May 19

Army Ten-Miler officials announced that phase two -- General Registration for the public at large --will open May 19 at 6:30 a.m. EDT. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, for the 20,000 slots available following Priority Registration on May 5.The 2015 race cap is again 35,000.General Registration is presented by Defense Mobile.Military installations and the general public will be able to obtain pre-paid entries for their running teams during this registration session.For those who miss registration in May, the Army Ten-Miler online transfer program will open June 2.Last year nearly 1,500 runners were able to enter the race through the transfer program.AUSA NEW Member Rate for Army Ten-Miler RunnersThe Association of the United States Army, the Army Ten-Miler’s Founding Sponsor, salutes the 2015 runners by offering  runners a special AUSA NEW member rate --$10 for a one-year NEW membership.To take advantage of this special offer, go to the Army Ten-Miler website – www.armytenmiler.com – click on the AUSA Banner Ad on the main page and join.This year’s raceThe 31st Annual Army Ten-Miler will be held at 8 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 11, the day before the opening of the Association of the United States Army’s Annual Meeting and Exposition, Oct. 12 – 14, at the Walter E.
