AUSA Winter Symposium focuses on the future Army

 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) officials have announced that the 2014 AUSA Winter Symposium and Exposition will be held, for the first time, in Huntsville, Ala., Feb. 19-21.Traditionally, this annual symposium is conducted on alternate years with support from a featured command, namely the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) or the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).The Army Materiel Command, headquartered at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, is the featured command for this 2014 professional development forum.The symposium will be held in the Von Braun Center and will focus on the theme: “America’s Army – Sustaining, Training, and Equipping for the Future.”Gen. Gordon R. Sullivan, USA, Ret., president of the Association of the United States Army, said, “Locating our 2014 symposium in Huntsville, Alabama, with its close proximity to AMC headquarters, will allow us to maximize military, civilian and industry attendance during this period of constrained budgets and limited resources.
