The local AUSA Las Vegas Chapter was invited to attend the Activation and Patching Ceremony at Sloan, Nevada. The 455TH Chemical Brigade has a storied history which had its beginnings in World War II, Massachusetts, Alabama, New Jersey and now currently operating in Nevada. The Brigade was the only Chemical Brigade in IRAQ Charged with finding Weapons of Mass Destruction during Operation Iraqi Freedom 1. AUSA Las Vegas Chapter President had the opportunity to meet and greet with members of the Brigade and share in the reception after the Official Ceremony.
