The AUSA Chapter President’s Workshop is conducted annually in the Washington DC area to prepare new chapter presidents to assume the duties and responsibilities of chapter leadership. Training is conducted entirely in Arlington, Virginia. Attendees are trained in the use of the Chapter Leader Portal website, membership databases, and chapter financial management. Attendees will also be briefed on AUSA programs, legislative affairs, the AUSA education strategy, marketing, fund-raising, National and Chapter communications, and on special categories of membership-Community Partner, Retired Soldiers, Reserve Components, and Army Civilians.
