TRICARE OPEN SEASON 2020 CAMPAIGN -  Per the Defense Health Agency, the TRICARE Open Season is the annual period when beneficiaries can enroll in or change their health care coverage for the next year.

TRICARE Open Season is 9 November–14 December 2020 -  Enrollment actions made during this period take effect on 1 January 2021.

Also, eligible beneficiaries can also enroll in vision and/or dental coverage through Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) during Federal Benefits Open Season, which is also 9 November–14 December 2020.

NEW!  TRICARE SELECT FEES FOR GROUP A RETIREES -   Effective 1 January 2021, TRICARE Select Group A retired beneficiaries must pay TRICARE Select enrollment fees. Group A consists of sponsors and their family members who first became affiliated with the military through enlistment or appointment before 1 January 2018. TRICARE Select Group A beneficiaries have not previously paid enrollment fees. TRICARE Select Group A retirees must contact their regional contractor before the end of TRICARE Open Season to set up a monthly enrollment fee payment. Enrollment fees must be paid by allotment, if feasible. Beneficiaries will be disenrolled for failure to pay enrollment fees.  For more information about this and other news from the Military Health System, click https://info.ausa.org/e/784783/Wn9qxcRRhC4i-tSCq9dLBs131I-6qY/4l5x2/327656645?h=rV9jb5L6GLEvrTvBJ79eMmlVDKc0H8yWr8GehyWCWqw.
