New Chapter Secretary
May 11, 2021—The AUSA Fort Leonard Wood Mid Missouri Chapter has named a new Chapter Executive Secretary for the organization.
Merle Jones CSM (R), President of the Chapter, announced Brittany Raines will serve in the position. He stated Raines has previously been active with AUSA in Fort Drum, New York and is skilled to take on the role. Mrs. Raines will be replacing Mrs. Melissa Anderson who has successfully served in the position since last fall.
Mrs. Raines’ experience working with multiple non profit organizations that serve the military is an asset to their organization. Mrs. Raines is excited to join the AUSA Fort Leonard Wood Mid Missouri Chapter team. “I am ready to see our AUSA Chapter provide programming and events for our military community and I look forward to watching membership grow.”
Mrs. Raines and her husband, SSG Casey Raines and their children recently moved to Fort Leonard Wood. Their family is the 2020 AUSA National Volunteer Family of the Year.
The Fort Leonard Wood Mid Missouri Chapter was formed in 1950 and has been proud to be an active organization in the community since. AUSA supports soldiers, their families, and Army civilians, provides a voice for the Army and honors those who have served. Members of the Chapter are afforded opportunities in professional development, access to a network of area leaders, awards and scholarships, and many more benefits.
