The Chapter's February Last Wednesday Social saw new faces and new members. Educate, Inform and Connect were the operative descriptors of last nights event as 35+ attendees gathered at Houlihan's for an informative and fun general membership meeting.

Gordon Sumner took time to highlight some paid job opportunities with non-profits Code of Support (www.codeofsupport.org) and Veterans Moving Forward (www.vetsfwd.org).
Carrie Ann Alford, Director of Policy & Planning for the Virginia Department of Veterans Affairs EDUCATED the group providing an update on current legislation in support of Virginia's veterans along with an overview of current services available.

Tobin Seven worked his magic CONNECTING new Community Partners Dan's Van Lines and Edward Jones to AUSA and the Chapter - all the while conducting the door-prize raffle. He also highlighted the 56 days left till the annual Scholarship Fund raiser at TopGolf of 26 April - asking for the support of all to make sure we reach our 2019 goal of $20,000 in scholarships awarded.
