AUSA conducts this event as part of its Institute of Land Warfare Educational Program.

The Army is going through major transformation in how we fight, how we equip and modernize, and how we manage the talent of our greatest asset – our people.

The Army's Talent Management Task Force (ATMTF) is helping the Army implement the most comprehensive reform of its officer personnel management system in over 70 years. The 2019 National Defense Authorization Act granted nine new authorities that provide the Army flexibility to determine the characteristics of a talent based system.

The Army is developing a data-rich, information age approach to how it acquires, develops, employs, and retains the right talent. Talent management requires a granular level of knowledge about the talent of people across the Total Force.

This forum furthers AUSA's effort to impress upon industry leadership the need for talent management which gives us a decisive advantage against near peer adversaries, maximizes the potential of our people, and to enlist support in communicating the landpower story to Congress, the media and other opinion-shapers within their respective companies and the communities in which their enterprises operate.

AUSA pre-registration is now open until 12 November 2019. On-site registration will open on Thursday, 14 November at 0630 at the AUSA Headquarters.

  • 0630 - 0800: Badge Pickup
  • 0630 – 0700: Coffee Service/Networking
  • 0700 – 0815: Breakfast

UNIFORM/DRESS:

Military: Army Combat Uniform (ACU)/Duty

Civilian: Business attire

PARKING:

Complimentary Parking is available at the Crystal Parking lot at 2636 Wilson Boulevard. Validation ticket available at the AUSA registration table.

PENTAGON SHUTTLE:

The Office of the Administrative Assistant provides shuttle transportation to Headquarters, Department of the Army senior officials attending regularly scheduled AUSA breakfasts on a first-come, first-served basis.  The AUSA shuttle operates from the corridor 5 entrance beginning at 0600 and continuing until 0715.  The shuttle departs the venue beginning at 0800, returning to corridor 5, and continues until the last official departs, or 0845, whichever is earlier.
