Theme: Connecting the Industrial Base to the Tactical Edge

Scope: This event will include more than 150 government, military and industry professionals, as well as senior-level executives from U.S. Army and logistics-related systems Industry partners. Government, military and Industry attendees will include leaders from throughout the sustainment enterprise, brought together to provide insights effecting the Industrial Base that will focus on Modernization, Supply Chain, Advanced Manufacturing (AdvM), and the integration of allies and partner capabilities.

Objective: Historically, the industrial base has been an integral part of supporting and generating readiness during times of conflict.  The ability of the Defense Industrial Base—both organic and commercial industrial bases—to come together to support emerging requirements is key to ensuring that our servicemembers have what they need to succeed. Army Materiel Command (AMC), in partnership with the DA G4, has numerous on-going initiatives focused on AdvM, supply chain, modernization and the integration of allies and partners capabilities. This event provides a forum for professional dialogue with senior government officials, military leaders and industry executives regarding the AMC’s approach to ensure that the demands of the Industrial Base can stay on pace with the Army’s transformation. Senior leaders and executives will have an exceptional opportunity to engage on the challenges of the Joint Force today and its requirements for tomorrow to work by, with and through our multinational allies and partners. Panel members will present their thoughts on these diverse, impactful topics and then be available for thought-provoking questions from the audience.
