SCOPE:
The theme for this professional development forum is “Army Space and AMD: Enabling Force Lethality in Multi-Domain Operations.” As you know, Army Air and Missile Defense has been and will continue to be a core capability that the U.S. Army provides to the joint force and coalition partners. This portfolio is one of the largest in the Army budget and given the growing international threat of sophisticated rocket and missile technologies, air and missile defense will be vital to our Nation’s overall defense capability for the foreseeable future.
OBJECTIVE:
This Symposium will provide a unique opportunity for senior leaders from industry and the military to interact and share their thoughts on the future of the Army’s Air and Missile Defense. We expect to have over 100 military, government, and industry professionals involved in all aspects of Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense.
The Army has transformed itself with the standup of Army Futures Command, the AMD Cross-functional team, the multi-domain operations concept, the release of the 2018 Missile Defense Review as well as the Army AMD Strategy 2028. This Symposium will serve as a validation tool ensuring that Army space and missile defense is integrated and synchronized as we construct the future AMD force.
