SUBMIT TO THE INNOVATION COMBINE BY APRIL 15
With all the uncertainty taking place surrounding COVID-19, AUSA wants to ensure innovators the INNOVATION COMBINE powered by U.S. Army Futures Command will still take place. While the onsite pitch competition might look a bit different, AUSA is invested in finding the best and safest option for the pitch element whether virtual or onsite at the Army Futures: Solve the Unknown event hosted by the Association of the United States Army from June 23-25 in Austin, TX.
The COVID-19 outbreak has shown us that novel problems require out-of-the-box solutions, and we are confident that the talented teams interested in this unique opportunity will find ways to tackle the Army's future challenges regardless of what happens in the coming weeks and months. All those interested in submitting a White Paper for the chance to win prize money needs to submit by APRIL 15.
CALLING ALL INNOVATORS
The INNOVATION COMBINE is for innovators, disruptors, out-of-the-box thinkers, startups and small-medium size companies interested in collaborating with the Army, earning prize money, and learning about potential funding opportunities to tackle the Army’s challenges with scalable power and energy solutions and novel materials for weight reduction and survivability.
The U.S. Army invites interested companies to participate in the Innovation Combine – a pitch style competition on June 24 – culminating at the U.S. Army Futures: Solve the Unknown event hosted by the Association of the United States Army from June 23-25 in Austin, TX.

THE MONEY
- Phase I: Up to 28 Selections $5,000 each funding for companies to attend June 24 event in Austin, TX
- Phase II: Up to 6 Selections $15,000 each
- Phase III: Up to 2 Selections $45,000 each (Awarded June 24)
- OTA Awards: Prototype Up to 2 Selections $300K each
Prize money will be awarded to selected projects through the Army’s xTechSearch Vector Program. Funding opportunities also available through the Ground Vehicle Systems OTA.
