Cyberspace, the Army Network, and Multi Domain Operations
SCOPE
The Army Network is a weapons platform, one that underpins operations across all domains of combat. The Cyberspace domain itself is a contested environment, where today's multi-domain warfighter needs to defend and exploit in order to fight and win against adaptive adversaries. This AUSA Hot Topic event is scheduled to bring together leaders from both inside and outside the Army to discuss cyber personnel, systems, and operations and their strategic impact in the modern fight.
OBJECTIVE
To examine how the Army is aggressively advancing Network Modernization and cyberspace capabilities development to for multi-domain operations. The AUSA Army Cyber Hot Topic will examine Network Modernization: Army Cyber Command and Army Futures Command working together; Talent Management: Recruiting and retaining military and civilian Cyber talent; and CEMA Support to Corps and Below: Equipping, Staffing, and Strategy Shifts to bring Cyber to the Tactical Edge. Each of these functions inform how the Army will continue to innovate, lead and win in the cyber domain.
