Event Description
The 2023 LANPAC Leadership Forum (LLF) professionally developed and inspired leaders, showcased USARPAC subordinate units, and engaged both allies and partners across the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility. The theme for the 2023 LLF was “Building Trust and Enduring Relationships Across the Indo-Pacific.”
Day One
We heard from CSM Brzak, SMA Grinston, MG Eifler and CSM Daley (11th Airborne), and John Forsythe (Deloitte). Our participants from I Corps had a meeting with LTG Brunson and CSM Carns (I Corps).
Day Two
The William and Mary Whole of Government Center of Excellence ran an exercise with our participants on strategic empathy. In the afternoon, we took our participants to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific or Punchbowl. We heard from Vietnam Veteran and Gold Star father, Allen Hoe.
Day Three
We heard from two Command Teams: COL Gina SanNicolas and CSM Thomas Marnoch from the Division Sustainment BDE and COL Robert Shaw and CSM Shaun Curry from 3rd IBCT, 25th ID, and Alejandro Villanueva, Army Veteran and NFL football player.
