AUSA BEST CHAPTER 2024 and 2025
The Las Vegas – Major General John C. Fremont Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational and professional development organization dedicated to supporting America’s Army and strengthening the connection between the military and our local community.
We serve and advocate for Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, Cadets, Army Civilians, Retirees, veterans of all branches, and their families throughout Greater Clark County and Southern Nevada.
Through fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement, we direct critical resources and financial support to those in need within our military community. We also educate the public on economic and strategic impact the military brings to our region.
Our chapter actively calls upon veterans, retirees, transitioning service members, and civic-minded citizens who want to give back through meaningful volunteerism. These efforts honor the service and sacrifice of those who protect our nation—often referred to as the “giants who walk among us.”
We work to unite military and civilian communities by collaborating with corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders who share values rooted in service, integrity, and patriotism. Through ongoing programs, outreach initiatives, and public events, we remain committed to strengthening our community and making Southern Nevada a better place for all who live and serve here.

As the professional association representing the Total Army in Southern Nevada, the AUSA Las Vegas – MG John C. Fremont Chapter supports America’s Army, its Soldiers, and their families by fostering understanding of the warfighting, land power, and readiness requirements necessary to sustain the force now and into the future.
We serve as a trusted bridge between the Army and the public—advocating for Soldiers, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring the enduring strength of the nation’s fighting force well into the 21st century.
