Today we got to hear how the U.S. federal government has civil service positions (civilians) that are equivalent to general officer or flag officer rank in the Armed Forces. These positions are called Senior Executive Service (SES) employees. We got to meet the top SES at the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE), Mr. Robert (Bob) Kazimer, the Deputy to the CCOE Commanding General. Mr. Kazimer will share his amazing military background, his duties & responsibilities as the Deputy, and the importance of the Civilian Employment program within the military.

It's no Secret - Mental Illness has no boundaries! You can find it in our local communities as well as within the perimeter of our military installations. This month, COL Carlene Blanding, Commander, DDEAMC, and a panel of medical professionals from Fort Gordon, will discuss how the Department of Defense and her team are getting after Mental Illness and implementing programs to help promote positive mental health for all Service Members and their Families.
