This scholarship is given for UNDERGRADUATE work only and is open to high school seniors; college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors; or to students applying to or attending a two-year junior college or technical school.  The institution must be regionally or nationally accredited.   This scholarship is not for post-graduate study. 

Please fill out completely each section of the application.   For sections that do not pertain to you, please say that instead of leaving it blank.  All recipients are REQUIRED to be present at the scholarship luncheon on 24 June 2021.

The scholarship committee will consider academics, commitment and desire to achieve, leadership, athletic activities, extra-curricular activities, accomplishments, volunteerism, employment, and goals.  Two CURRENT letters of reference are required.

I understand that my application and all required documentation must be received by the Indiana Chapter Association of the United States Army (AUSA) no later than 11:59 PM EDT May 1, 2021, at [email protected]. (Please submit documents as a single electronic file.)   I am or am a dependent of a current member of the Association of the United States Army who is in good standing.  Failure to attach any documentation listed above or to include all points in the essay will lower the overall score used in consideration of my application.

I hereby certify that the information on the application is complete and accurate.  I understand that I am responsible for submitting all required documentation to the Scholarship Committee of the Indiana Chapter AUSA.  I fully understand that AUSA has the right to cancel all benefits of this program if irregularities are verified.  I also understand that I MUST ENROLL IN AND COMPLETE THE SCHOOL TERM OR REFUND THE SCHOLARSHIP.  If awarded a scholarship, I authorize the Indiana Chapter AUSA to verify completion of the school term.
