The Central Texas Chapter of AUSA hosted its first Young Professionals Social at the Samuel Adams Pub on Fort Hood with 44 attendees, including Soldiers, Community Partners, and community leaders.

Guest speakers included Fernando Fernandez, Vice President of First Heroes National Bank, and Dr. Angela Reese from Central Texas College. Both shared insights on leadership, networking, and professional growth.

Chancellor Dr. Michelle Carter and Dr. Reese of Central Texas College were recognized with Chapter Coins in appreciation of their sponsorship and participation.

The evening was a great success, resulting in four new memberships and the addition of a new Community Partner. The Central Texas Chapter looks forward to building on this momentum and hosting the next Young Professionals event soon.
