The Chapter announces that our next General Membership meeting is set for Wednesday, 14 June, at 12:00 noon in the Iron Mike Conference Center.  During this session, we will celebrate the Army's 248th birthday and we will honor our scholarship recipients for their academic achievement.  Additionally, this serves as a reminder from our previous General Membership meeting that we will be updating our By-Laws for approval.  These changes are necessary to reflect the Installation name change to Fort Liberty, North Carolina; to make any needed updates to the internal organizational structure and duty descriptions of the Board of Advisors, President, Executive Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Presidents, and standing Committees to better reflect current operations; to update the Chapter name to reflect our relationship with Fort Liberty, North Carolina; and to make minor adminstrative changes to the By-Laws for clarity.  The updated By-Laws will be filed with the Installation as required to maintain our ability to continue operating on the Garrison and filed with AUSA National to continue operating as a Chapter.
