On 12 Aug 2022, Past President of the Braxton Bragg Chapter - Andy McFowler, NCO and Soldier Programs - Jimmie Spencer, Volunteer - David Hankins, and 20+ volunteers participated in the Braxton Bragg Chapter Community Partner Airborne and Special Operations Museum Field of Honor event, as well as the flag folding event.

The Field of Honor display was part of the Museum’s week-long Veterans Day observance. The Chapter worked closely with the museum’s staff during each phase of the celebration.

Each flag comes with its own story and displays a tag identifying both the person who sponsored the flag and the flag honoree. This living display of heroism flies as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, and honors all who are currently serving, those that have served, and the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation’s security and freedom.

All flags were proudly displayed on the Parade Field of the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum from September 11th through November 13th, 2022.

Flags will either be shipped once the field is taken down or can be donated back for the Vietnam Veterans Pinning Ceremonies
