Book Program Proposals

The AUSA Book Program offers quality books about Army heritage, military theory and policy, and security in the modern world. AUSA will sponsor and act as agent for books concerning topics of interest for and about the Army, and it welcomes proposals from prospective authors.

Proposals should include the following elements:

  • A brief description of the book
  • Table of contents/outline
  • Author’s biographical information
  • A review of comparable titles
  • Sample chapter(s)

AUSA cannot guarantee the publication of any accepted work, but will endeavor to place the book with one of its cooperating publishers. Payment to the author is by standard contract from the participating publishers and is made on a royalty basis.
