AUSA council elects trustees, appoints Advisory Board members
The Association of the United States Army’s Council of Trustees re-elected five members to serve on the Association’s council – AUSA’s governing body.
The council met April 28 at the Association’s national headquarters in Arlington, Va.
Elected to serve as trustees for additional three-year terms were: Nicholas D. Chabraja; Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody, USA, Ret.; Sgt. Maj of the Army Robert E. Hall, USA, Ret.; Lt. Gen. Larry R. Jordan, USA, Ret.; and Gen. Dennis J. Reimer, USA, Ret.
Thomas W. Rabaut was re-elected to serve as deputy chairman for another two-year term, and Chabraja was re-elected to serve as chairman for another year.
The council appointed 22 new members and re-appointed 16 current members to serve three-year terms beginning July 1 on the Association’s Advisory Board of Directors.

Dougherty, USA, Ret., Northern New Jersey Chapter; Lt. Col. Paul Elliott, USA, Ret., Redstone-Huntsville Chapter; Albert Joseph Fitzgerald, Redstone-Huntsville Chapter; Bruce Flechter, Greater Augusta-Fort Gordon Chapter; Col. Bob Fritz, USA, Ret., Gen. Lt. Col. Tom E. Lasser, USA, Ret., Greater Los Angeles Chapter; Lt. Col. Buck Leahy, USA, Ret., Sunshine Chapter; Command Sgt. Maj. Jackie Moore, USA, Ret., Fort Huachuca-Sierra Vista Chapter; Diane M. Randon, Fairfax-Lee Chapter; 2nd Lt. Jared Reinhardt, Houston Metroplex Chapter; Gus J. Rodriguez, GA Omar N. Bradley Chapter; Sarah Sattelberg, Virginia Colonial Chapter; Brig. Gen. Stephen Seay, USA, Ret., Fairfax- Lee Chapter; Lt. Col. Kenneth M. James Cunningham, USA, Ret., Fires Chapter; Lt. Gen. Charles Dominy, USA, Ret., George Washington Chapter; and Brig. Gen. William F. Engel, USA, Ret., Fairfax-Lee Chapter.
Maj. Gen. Jerry C. Harrison, USA, Ret., Fairfax-Lee Chapter; Ronald W. Johnson, George Washington Chapter; Karen R. Lowe, George Washington Chapter; Maj. Gen. Robert L. Nabors, USA, Ret., Fairfax-Lee Chapter; Col. Ian T. Patterson, USA, Ret., George Washington Chapter; Lt. Gen. Thomas J. Plewes, USA, Ret., George Washington Chapter; Command Sgt. Maj. Robert W. Van Pelt, USA, Ret., Capital District of New York Chapter; and Wesley F. Walters, George Washington Chapter, were also re-appointed.
Advisory board members serve on one of the Association’s standing committees to include: Army civilians; awards; chapter operations; finance and audit; NCO and soldier programs; reserve components; retiree and veteran affairs; and standing bylaws.
