ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY

The Las Vegas AUSA Chapter had the opportunity to volunteer time and energy during a three day period helping a non-profit organization from Indiana come to Las Vegas to support active uniformed Armed Forces members, their families and veterans with $5 dollar NASCAR racing tickets during the South Point 400 race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tickets included a Tailgate party with live entertainment and all you can eat BBQ. The Las Vegas Chapter volunteered to help with ticket sales, cooking and event set up. Over 800 tickets were purchased with many families enjoying the event. The Vegas Chapter also set up a table and was able to share information about AUSA with many of the Race fans. This opportunity allowed our Chapter to Network with a lot of experienced people, which has given our Chapter more knowledge to expand. Our Chapter will participate again in February during the Pennzoil 400.
