US Army Team Wins Joint Services Golf Tournament
07/01/2005

“We may be an ‘Army of One’ but it took a team to win the Annual Joint Services E-9 Golf Tournament,” stated CSM (R) Jimmie Spencer, director of NCO and Soldier Programs, Association of the United States Army.

The United States Coast Guard hosted this year’s 26th Annual All-Services E-9 Golf Tournament at the South Course at Andrews, AFB on June 20th. E-9s from each service squared off bright and early Monday morning with one thought in mind, the trophy. The trophy and the bragging rights are very much a part of the friendly competition. By all accounts, a good time was had by everyone.

The teammates listed below fought to regain the trophy. The Army team has captured it eight out of the 10 years of competition. The trophy will be displayed in the Sergeant Major of the Army’s office until next year’s competition. HOOAH!
