Information Technology. SRI provides systems engineering support services to customers at 13 Military Treatment Facilities nationwide, such as Walter Reed Medical Center, Andrews Air Force Base, and Balboa Naval Hospital, and provided 24-hour computer operations support to the Army’s Command and Control Support Agency in a Top Secret environment at the Pentagon for six years.
Telecommunications. SRI’s telecommunications operations and maintenance support includes certified switch maintenance; cabling, and engineering services to name a few at Ft. McCoy, WI; Ft. Detrick, MD; and Pueblo Army Depot, CO. In addition, SRI has installed and maintained major PBX switches at many Department of Veterans Administration medical facilities.
Management Consulting. SRI provides strong managerial consulting services such as project management consulting, training, acquisition support and HR consulting services to the Army’s Strategic Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) (formerly known as Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC)) and Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) as well as the Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Transportation, NASA and the Food and Drug Administration.

Federal agencies for CONUS and OCONUS Personnel Support Services requirements. SRI provides services at 20 Army and Navy installations in a wide range of capacities under 14 awarded tasks, ranging from personnel support to military finance, family and well-being services, support to severely injured soldiers and families, transition and counseling services, and more.
Engineering and Logistics. SRI was selected to be a small businesses contract holder to provide logistics services under the newly awarded Field and Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) contract vehicle. FIRST is an Army Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract vehicle which expedites the procurement of logistics services in the areas of Program Management, Information Technology, Supply Support, Maintenance Support, and Operations Support, et.al.
The $9B FIRST contract covers 10 logistical task areas ranging from total program support to sets, kits and outfits. The program focuses on planning, implementing and performing operations in support of sustainment of equipment, providing innovative transformation support services for the Warfighter and their mission-critical duties. This new iteration of LOGJAMSS is designed to support Army installations and field sites located both CONUS and OCONUS.
In addition, SRI was awarded the $1.5B CONUS Support Base Services (CSBS) contract, an Installation Management Agency (IMA) mobilization-demobilization support services effort, in 2005. This contract’s efforts are designed to augment the Army’s mobilization and demobilization efforts at 16 Power Projection and Power Support Platforms. At Ft. Carson, CO, SRI provides the required expertise covering eight of the 12 task areas of the CSBS mission which include: Program Management and Operations, Plans, Material Management and Supply, Mobilization, Training, Services, Movements, Security, Equipment Readiness and Maintenance Support, Human Resources, Billeting, Facilities Management, Finance, and Information Management
For the past 13 years, SRI has successfully provided Army and other DoD entities a wide range of technical professionals at 26 Army installations (CONUS and OCONUS), 14 Navy installations, and 8 Air Force bases. More than 70 percent of SRI’s 250+ employees have advanced degrees in their field of specialization. Thirty-seven percent of SRI personnel hold active security clearances. Mark Patterson

A new addition to our staff to facilitate our continued growth is COL(Ret) Mark Patterson, as Director of Army Programs. Mr. Patterson recently completed over 26 years in the U.S. Army and has worked in the Pentagon, Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-1 for the past five years. As a senior-level human resources and administrative manager who understands the importance of building flexible, high performing organizations he will be oversee SRI’s CSBS and HRsolutions contract vehicles. Throughout his military career Mr. Patterson worked with Active Army, Reserve and National Guard organizations and served in Germany, Korea, and numerous CONUS locations. He has extensive experience in: Personnel Support Services; Mobilization/Demobilization Operations; Army Community Services; Family Readiness Groups; Army Transition Center Operations; Military Awards; and Casualty Operations. He has been recognized for innovative management solutions in the areas of recruiting, retention, training, budgets, benefits and volunteer services.
