GENERAL INFORMATION
Eligibility: The Army Logistics Symposium and Exposition welcomes all AUSA members, employees or consultants of AUSA Member companies, military and civilian government personnel, invited guests, and non-members that are interested or have an identifiable relationship with AUSA or the United States Army.
Registration: Registration fee per individual is $400 for government personnel (active duty military, and government employees, does not apply to contractors), $700 for Sustaining Members (employees of an AUSA sustaining member company) and $1000 for non-members (all others, including AUSA corporate members and individual members). The fee will increase to $450, $750 and $1050, respectively, after COB 5 May 2008. We accept checks, American Express, VISA or MasterCard. We do not accept government form 1556 as payment. Please do not send the application without payment – we will be unable to reserve space until payment is received. Once your registration and payment are processed, a receipt will be sent to you or will be given to you at the registration desk on-site by request. Refunds will be made for those registrants who cancel in writing prior to close of business 5 May 2008. No refunds for cancellations after that date. Registrations received after 5 May 2008 are not guaranteed for pre-registration. Late registrants may need to register on-site. Online registration is now available at www.ausa.org.

Lodging: Accommodations for this symposium have been arranged at the Crowne Plaza Richmond, 555 East Canal Street, Richmond, VA 23219-1812. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotels directly. Based on availability, the room rates are as follows:

Industry & Military/Government Rate: $115.00 plus applicable taxes
Reservations must be made by 21 April 2008 to receive this rate. After 21 April, reservations will be made on a space available basis. In order to receive the special conference rate, you must mention that you will be attending the Association of the United States Army Logistics Symposium. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit, or guaranteed with a major credit card. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to check-in to avoid being charged or not receiving a full refund on your deposit.
Transportation: Please call the hotel or convention center directly for directions. The local airport is Richmond International Airport. The Crowne Plaza Richmond provides overnight guests with a complimentary shuttle, based on availability within a three-mile radius of the hotel.
Parking: Self and valet parking is available for overnight guests at the Richmond Marriott Hotel for $14.00 and $18.00 respectively and at the Omni Richmond Hotel for $18.00 and $19.00 respectively per night (subject to change) with in/+out privileges. Covered hotel parking is available at the Crowne Plaza Richmond at the current rate of $10.00 for overnight guests with in/+out privileges, based on availability. The Greater Richmond Convention Center parking deck is located at 3rd Street and East Marshall Street, enter from 3rd Street. Pay the attendant upon entry, $6.00 per day, $26.00 for overnight parking. Payment accepted; cash, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. The parking deck is open daily from 7 am to 7 pm. Exposition: The Symposium and Exposition will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 North 3rd Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
