AUSA + 1st Session, 110th Congress = Some Good News, But...
01/31/2008
ILW_SpecialReports_Goodnews.pdf
(Special Report, January 2008) outlines the response of the 1st Session, 110th Congress to issues and initiatives for which AUSA has spoken out on behalf of the Army and the defense community. The list of topics includes items of interest for almost everyone in and around the Army: active Army and reserve component endstrength, the pay gap, the death gratuity and life insurance benefits, funding Impact Aid, TRICARE fees and deductibles, concurrent receipt of retirement and disability pay, reducing the age at which reserve component personnel receive their pay and benefits, funding accelerated modernization of reserve component equipment, funding for Army procurement and maintaining readiness while developing the Future Force for the transforming Army.
