2008 Army Ten-Miler Race Transfer Process
05/08/2008

The Army Ten-Miler sold out its 26,000 registrations in a record 21 days. Now, the Ten-Miler and Marathonguide.com will offer an online registration transfer process so there is still a chance to register if you did not do so before the cap was reached and the race closed. Last year 1,200 runners entered the race by using the online registration transfer.

Beginning May 15 and ending Aug. 8, the “Bulletin Board” section of the race’s Web site, www.armytenmiler.com, will be available for registered runners and non-registered runners to connect and initiate the transfer process.

While the Army Ten-Miler’s Web site is used to manage this information and the database, sellers are responsible for finding buyers and determining the payment terms. All parties will receive confirmation once the transfer process is complete, and all Army Ten-Miler registration databases are updated with the new runner’s information. There is a minimal fee associated with the online transfer process. For more information visit www.armytenmiler.com.
