Progress Being Made
As Task Force Liberty winds down its operations in Iraq, the commander of the 42nd Infantry Division told Pentagon reporters Oct. 28 that “progress in every line of operation has been realized.”

Panel Expresses Concern about Force Protection
Testifying Oct. 20 before the House Armed Services Committee, Secretary of the Army Francis Harvey said that with computer “displays in front of soldiers that show where they are, where other Humvees are, Bradleys, tanks” and the enemy [are] would improve soldiers’ chances of survival in these kinds of attacks.

Hill Reviews Changes in Personnel System
