The Family Programs Directorate began hosting Military Family Forums at the AUSA Annual Meeting in 1999. Since then our Forums have covered a variety of topics from deployment to military healthcare and housing to spouse employment and military child education. The Forums provide senior Army leaders with a platform to address issues of concern to military families and to announce new initiatives. Family members are also invited to speak about their experiences and to share strategies for coping with the demands and challenges of military life.
We currently host three Military Family Forums, one on each day of the Annual Meeting. Anyone eligible to attend the AUSA Annual Meeting is welcome to attend the Forums; however, we do recommend registration to ensure seating. Information about registration and the content of the Forums will be updated on a regular basis; please check this web page frequently for the latest information.
For information about past or upcoming Forums please call AUSA Family Programs at 800-336-4570, ext. 150 or 151 or e-mail familyprograms@ausa.org.
