Albright to receive Marshall Medal
The 64th U.S. Secretary of State, will receive the 2008 George Catlett Marshall Medal, the highest award presented by the Association of the United States Army.

Army speeds FCS for today’s fight
The Army is looking for ways to speed hardware – particularly manned ground vehicles, and software in the Future Combat Systems program to the force – senior officials told Congress and attendees at the Association of the United States Army’s Winter Symposium and Exposition.

Contracting command activated to oversee Army procurement
The executive director of the newly activated Army Contracting Command (Provisional) said one of his goals was to turn over the command as quickly as possible to a two-star Army officer and pledged it “with being good stewards of our taxpayer dollars.”

Army moving forward, not looking back to ‘70s, ‘80s
“We are not going back to the Army of the ‘70s and ‘80s. We are going forward,” the Army’s deputy G-4 told attendees at the Association of the United States Army’s Winter Symposium and Exposition.
