Please welcome our new President, Kermit Gable who assumed his new post on October 1, 2012.  His Transfer Ceremony was held at the end of our most sucessful Wounded Warrior Golf Tournement so far.  What a great day to begin his new responsibilities.  Our Chapter raised over 45,000 to be split amongst this years three charities:  Heroes on the Water; Operation Once in a Lifetime; and the ROTC programs.  Our fantastic outgoing President has NOT retired, he has assumed the role of Chapter Communications Director and the Prsidency of the North Texas State AUSA.  And he tells us he is looking for new ways to continue adding his experience to AUSA's continuing roles in support of our returning troops.

Our new dedicated "Chapter Website".is now published and operational.   We would like to get all the members feedback on the new website. Just click on the word site and review the new site at your leisure.  This site will accept blog/posts and comments; and that seems like a decent way for you to give us some feedback, after you have registered and been upgraded(see below).   Of course you could just go to the "Contact-US with Attachment" page and click on the Webmaster's email address to open an email to me if you want to keep your feedback private.  .

When you "register" on the site, by default you can only READ information and "comment" on Posts.  If you wish to become a "Contributor" - send a message to either JP or me, the webmaster, asking that your "Role" on the site be upgraded after you have registered.  You do not need to rergister to read the site.  But if you wish to comment, or blog/post on the site, we have to upgrade your Role. Once your new Role is established, you will see new options on the topmost menu. See the website for instructions on how to format and make a POST.

Thanks and welcome to your new Home on the Internet.

Leadership and a Movie Event - A new Leadership and A War Movie event is planned.   A panel of 6 experienced military and business leaders from Dallas will discuss leadership lessons that can be taken from the movie .  Se our Movie page for the latest details.  Our last Event at the Studio Movie Grille was a spectactular success.

Panel members included employees from 2 of our local corporate members (Raytheon and Merrill Lynch).  Our latest event was sponsored by the Chapter and there was no charge for the nights activities.  .
